This ranch is located just east of Robert Lee on an easement, off of Hwy 158. There is river frontage on the Colorado River, and a nice lake stocked with fish. There are some smaller dirt tanks on the property that are also stocked with fish. There is a good population of deer, and with the surface water there are lots of dove.

  • The property is located 2.7 miles east of Robert Lee. The ranch is located south of Hwy 158 on a 1.2 mile easement.

  • The McClaine Ranch is located in central Coke County just east of Robert Lee. The property has Colorado River frontage which is downstream from Lake Spence. The river is currently dry given the prolonged drought conditions in the area. There is however good surface water on the ranch that has survived the drought and some of the ponds/lakes are stocked with fish.
  • This ranch has rolling to rugged terrain with lots of brush cover for wildlife. There has been some clearing and reseeding done in the past and the ranch has good grass cover.
  • There are two water wells on the property that both are equipped with windmills, concrete reservoirs and troughs. The wells are not currently being used as there is ample surface water for wildlife and livestock. There is a main lake that has bass and catfish. Other than the main lake there are four other tanks on the property.
  • There is no house or residence on the property. There is a set of corrals, and a small feed storage room. The property does not have an electric meter, but there is power line running through the ranch.
  • There are many features of this property that increase the recreational appeal. The ranch has a diverse terrain and lots of wildlife. The main lake offers fishing and is a great spot for dove hunting in the fall. Although the river is currently dry, for years it had great fishing and lots of game that traveled the river bottom.
